"Ca'Lajala" is a tastefully restored old country house situated in a very quiet area only 4 km (2.5 miles) from Urbino - a world-renowned town famed for its spectacular Ducal Palace and unique Renaissance architecture. Because of it's advantageous location, the house is ideal for those seeking the peace and privacy of the countryside, the celebrated artistic sights and cultural events of Urbino, as well as the entertainment value of the beach which is only 30 minutes away.

"Ca'Lajala" consists of two apartments: our residence and a second separate dwelling which we rent - both homes have their own private entrance. The house is fenced and only accessible through an automated gate with intercom. The spacious garden (4000m2) is framed by ancient oaks, fruit trees and even includes a mini-playground for children complete with swings and a teeter-tooter. The breathtaking view includes the surrounding green "Cesane" hills, an ancient stone town protected by the ruins of a medieval tower and a vast valley leading to the seashore.

Urbino is a historic town famous for its stunning Ducal Palace - perhaps the finest Renaissance court in Europe. The palace can be visited daily and features some of the most significant masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance including paintings by Raffaello Sanzio and Piero della Francesca. The house is less than 30 minutes from the beach and it is ideally located to provide comfortable access to the rest of central Italy, including the numerous towns in the Montefeltro area - renowned for its art and traditions. The Umbria region (featuring the towns of Gubbio, Assisi, Todi) and Emilia Romagna (Rimini, Bologna, Ravenna) are less than one hour away. Tuscany, Rome and Venice are all within 4-5 hour driving distance.

The nearest international airports are in the nearby cities of Bologna (approx. 2.0 hours away), Ancona (approx. 1.5 hours away) and Rimini (approx. 1.0 hour away).

Two kinds of accomodation are available:

- Bed and Breakfast. All the rooms have their own bathroom and independent entrance. Breakfast is made with organic ingredients - local or Fair Trade - and homemade jam prepared with the organic fruit from our garden.

- Holiday apartment. This kind of accomodation provides a fully equipped apartment

The apartment with its own private entrance is new, comfortably furnished and with internet WiFi connection.It has and Outdoor Terrace/Landing with magnificent view , perfect for outdoor dining. The kitchen is fully equipped with kitchenware, a new stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer and washing machine. The living room includes a TV. Children's furniture including cribs and high chairs is also available upon request.

Apartment B

Area: 90 M2
People: 2-6

This apartment with its own private entrance provides two large double bedrooms (L, N) with king size bed and private bathroom. The bright colored dining room / kitchen(M) connecting the two bedrooms is fully equipped with kitchenware, stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer and washing machine.
